How can hotels modernize financial planning without losing the tools and trust they already rely on?

In this episode of dojo.live, we sit down with Jill Wilder, President of Aptech, to explore how hotels can modernize their financial operations—without overwhelming teams or abandoning the tools they know best. As guest-facing innovation takes center stage, Jill makes a strong case for why budgeting, forecasting, and financial clarity deserve just as much attention behind the scenes.

The conversation spotlights TVNG, Aptech’s newly launched budgeting and forecasting tool, built with an intuitive, non-Excel interface that still integrates seamlessly with Excel. Jill shares how this hybrid approach is helping teams transition into smarter, more structured workflows while reducing friction and data chaos. From embedding rationale into forecasts to imagining how AI might eventually support financial decision-making, Jill emphasizes the power of connected systems—and why forecasting, accounting, and business intelligence should never be siloed.

If you’ve ever wrestled with Excel overload or struggled to connect strategy to numbers, this conversation is for you.
