Why does the industry need a non-intermediary OTA to drive direct bookings and build PM brands instead of their own?
Eric Goldreyer is the CEO and owner of bnbfinder, where travelers can locate and book professionally run vacation rentals, bed and breakfasts, inns and boutique hotels – without the service fees. As a book direct marketplace, the company is making travel more affordable again, while extending the peace of mind, high level of quality, and elevated hospitality experience that comes with staying in vacation rentals run by reputable, trusted professional property managers who make more revenue per booking on bnbfinder than they can on any competing online travel agency (OTA).
Previously, Eric was co-founder of TurnKey Vacation Rentals, which became the second largest property management company in North America before its acquisition by Vacasa in 2021. In 1995, Eric founded Bedandbreakfast.com, coinciding with the entry of internet giants like Amazon, Yahoo and eBay in the same year. As CEO, he built Bedandbreakfast.com into the world’s largest online directory of professionally run bed and breakfasts and inns and also owned the leading Property Management Software (PMS) company, RezOvation. HomeAway (now Vrbo) acquired the companies in 2010.
