Is the all-in-one vs. hub-and-spoke debate holding hospitality back? Exploring a new way forward for PMS technology.
In this episode of dojo.live, we sit down once again with Josh Graham, Head of Marketing Development for North America at Cloudbeds, to challenge long-held assumptions about property management systems in hospitality. Rather than choosing between an all-in-one PMS and a hub-and-spoke model, Josh introduces a compelling “third way”—a flexible, unified approach designed to reduce complexity while maximizing scalability and performance. He walks us through the evolution of PMS architecture, exposes the hidden trade-offs of today’s platform choices, and shares what hoteliers should really be prioritizing when modernizing their tech stack. From integration pitfalls to success stories, this conversation offers a fresh perspective on what’s possible when we stop forcing hotels to fit outdated models—and instead build tools that fit how hospitality actually works.
