John Miller has worked with teams in the US, UK, Israel, Egypt, and India. He’ll share his experiences with distributed collaboration at Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, and the dynamics of making projects and careers successful when team members are spread across the globe.

John Miller has been a test developer, product developer, manager, and software architect at Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and now Oracle. He helped develop Microsoft Windows and Flight Simulator, and worked in incubation at Microsoft Research. His most recent work (including his PhD) is in designing and implementing distributed systems and infrastructure for cloud services.
