Angel Jones is the Co-Founder and CEO of truFable, a cloud-native SaaS cybersecurity company. Angel is no stranger entrepreneurship as he previously co-founded and led the successful acquisition of Refense Technologies, a cybersecurity firm, after a strong three-year run.
Whether serving as a cyber special agent for the U.S. Office of Inspector General or as a chief security officer in the private sector, Angel has spent the past 20+ years engaged with leading-edge, vibrant thought leaders and creative technologists. Most recently Angel was strategic in leading PwC’s global cybersecurity transformation.
Angel is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and to further compliment his experience, he serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia and Brandeis University where he teaches future cybersecurity professionals. Angel holds several cybersecurity certifications to include, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and CCISO. And when he isn’t working as a startup founder, Angel enjoys piloting his single-engine aircraft, traveling to his favorite destinations with family and friends. He’s a die-hard Miami football fan that, without a doubt, will remind you that the Dolphins hold the record for an undefeated season.
