Robert draws on his years of experience based on an old saying: "The more things change, the more they stay the same." With so much emphasis these days still being placed on youth, he remains an outlier in the startup community.
Robert Lee has been launching startups for over 50 years now and has been in the tech industry for over 30 years. He continues to advise and mentor startups in the Seattle area and is currently involved in the payments industry.
Robert is a career entrepreneur and startup addict currently involved in a stealth re-launch project. Previously, Lee was the founder and CEO of UTM Systems Corp., the first company to successfully enable online PIN-based debit transactions within the US debit networks. In this interview, he shares his many years of experiences – both good and bad – as he continues to create new ideas and invent new products.
