How can we harness the power of connection and community through gaming?
Shail Mehta is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Last Gameboard. She grew up playing board games and tabletop roleplaying games. When Shail & her family immigrated to the US in the 90s, she made friends and learned English by playing simple board games.
Her passion for gaming and making social connections through technology inspired her to create Gameboard. Shail has worked at hedge funds & private equity firms prior to creating Gameboard. After being granted a patent in 2020 for Gameboard’s groundbreaking technology that mixes the worlds of physical and digital gaming, Shail formed a team, raised capital and launched Gameboard. She is a mother of two, loves traveling, eating Indian food and watching Bollywood movies.
